Jake was born in Anchorage Alaska. Later he moved to beautiful central Oregon where his love for animals blossomed on a Alpaca and Sheep ranch.  As a child his dedication to animals was very obvious and led to him being very active in 4-H. Jake’s passion for veterinary medicine started to grow while he was working with Camelids and volunteering at a spay and neuter clinic in high school.  Jake moved to Tucson in 2008 starting in general practice medicine. A few years later he joined an emergency and specialty hospital where his management career started. The last ten years he has been working in the emergency veterinary field.  He is very excited to continue his career for years to come serving patients and clients here at St Marys! In his free time he enjoys training dogs, hiking, fishing and camping. Jake and his partner have a full house of animal children including; two Dutch Shepherds, two Bengal cats, two rescue kitties, two birds and several Japanese Koi and Fancy Guppies.
